Bruce Banner process
By far my favorite character from this summers blockbuster "The Avengers" was The Hulk. I felt he was very well portrait by Mark Ruffalo (as Bruce Banner) and as The Hulk. Because I've drawn/painted many pictures of the Hulk over the past year I felt I needed to pay tribute to the other side of the coin. I had many different ideas on how I wanted to do it but I always new I wanted Bruce to be in B&W and some sort of green background eluding to his transformation. Below is my step by step process going from line art, ink wash, enhanced filtering, transparent background, layering and final version with Comic book dots and quotes primed for a print.

Hawkeye process
I won't go into too many details other than the usual run down. Hand drawn with 2H pencil, inked with Copic pens, then hand painted with Sumi ink and ink wash. From top to bottom: line art, instagram w.i.p. pic, b&w version and final version with violet filter for color and motion blur. Click on the images to view them full screen. Cheers.
